Men’s Track & Field Sits in Fifth After Day One of Liberty League Championship

ROCHESTER, N.Y. –
The Ithaca College men's track & field team began the Liberty League Outdoor Championships at RIT on Friday and finished the day with eight points and ranks fifth in the team standings.

The Bombers picked up four points in the long jump and four more in the pole vault.

Evan Cherry and Tyler Duffin competed in the long jump and placed sixth and eighth. Cherry measured out 6.53 meters, while Duffin posted a mark of 6.42 meters.

Dylan Sullivan and Shaun Herlihy each cleared 4.20 meters in the pole vault to reach the podium in sixth and eighth place.

Matt Lokshin qualified for the 110-meter hurdles final as he placed fourth in the prelim with a time of 15.54 seconds. Jake Dembrow will also run in the 110 hurdles final as he will be seeded eighth after a time of 16.72 seconds.

Lokshin also qualified in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.23 seconds, which was third in the prelims.
