GENEVA, Ohio – The Ithaca College men's track & field team wrapped up its second day of competition at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships on Friday at SPIRE Institute as
Kevin Danaher was the lone entry on the day.
Danaher competed in the shot put and placed 11th overall, surpassing his seed position of 14th. Danaher's top mark of the day was 15.90 meters (52' 2"), which came up just shy of ninth for a change to continue for a chance at All-American.
Danaher fouled on his first attempt but hit 15.90 meters on his second try. His final attempt traveled 15.68 meters.
The Bombers will have three qualifiers in action tomorrow as
Dom Mikula competes in the pole vault at 12 p.m.,
Luke Tobia will be in the hammer throw at 1:45 p.m. and
Nathaniel Oczkowski runs in the 400-meter hurdles final at 2:25 p.m.
