ITHACA, N. Y. - The NCAA Division III Women's Rowing Committee has selected the institutions that will compete in the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Rowing Championships. The championships will be held May 27-28 at the Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida, hosted by the University of Central Florida and the Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy. 
 
For Ithaca, the following student-athletes are expected to make the trip to Florida: Michele Hyland, Allison Arndt, Dania Bogdanovic, Laura Trainor, Taylor Volmrich, Izzy Ozkurt, Madelyn Farber, Devi de Oliveira, Eliza Worth, Carlie Wohlfahrt, Karley Whalen, Erika Elcsisin, Emma Hammel, Brenna Hanratty, Erin Trojan, Glenn Hartley, Edie McRoberts, and Emily Lighthall. 
 
Head Coach Becky Robinson shared her thoughts and expectations for the team amid the team's recent championship bid.

"I am thrilled that Team 47 [IC women's was initiated in the spring of 1975] has this opportunity," said head coach Becky Robinson. "They have earned it with work and results! For many athletes it has been a long two years and I am grateful that this team gets to play in the big dance! My expectations of the team are, believe, have fun and never back down". 
 
The following are the berths that are allocated:  Pool A – three (Pool A consists of conferences that have been awarded automatic qualification); Pool B/C – three (Pools B and C include independents, institutions from conferences that do not meet automatic-qualification standards and Pool A institutions that did not receive their conference's automatic qualification.).
 
Ithaca College was one of the three automatic qualifiers after winning its fourth straight Liberty League title on May 8 in Saratoga, New York.
 
More information regarding the championship races will be released at a later date.

For 2022, the championships will be composed of eight teams. Each team will send two boats of eight rowers and a coxswain.
