The Bombers answered with three runs in the top of the fifth as Gil Merod stroked a two-run home run and Ryan Laubscher followed with an RBI single.

IC tied the game at 9-9 in the sixth as Shirley drove home Fabbo with a single up the middle, and then the Bombers broke the game open with six runs in the seventh inning and one more in the eighth to make the score 16-9.
