Eze Chukwuezi claimed a fifth-place finish to earn his All-American status, while
Jordan Wallace concluded his Bombers career with a eighth-place finish in the consolation bracket to do the same in the 197-pound bout of the 2022 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships Saturday at the U.S. Cellular Center.
The Bombers totaled 16.5 total team points, which was good for a 27
th place team finish. It was a highly attested battle that came down to the wire for the National Championship with Wartburg College edging out Wabash College (78.0) by just one point with a total of 79.0. RIT totaled 37.0 points as they scored the top-10 finish coming in eighth.
