No. 23 Men’s Track & Field Opens 2022 Bomber Invitational on Saturday

ITHACA, N.Y. -
The Ithaca College men's track & field program, ranked No. 23 in the nation, hosted its annual Bomber Invitational on Saturday inside Glazer Arena at the Athletics and Events Center. It was the first Bomber Invite for IC since February 1-2, 2020.

Prior to the start of competition, Ithaca recognized its senior class, which has been a dominant group since stepping onto South Hill. IC captured the Liberty League Outdoor title with this classing leading the way.

Jalen Leonard-Osbourne surpassed his own school record for the third straight week and broke the Glazer Arena record with a time of 6.78 seconds in the 60-meter dash. That time is now tied for No. 1 in the country.

Andy Frank moved all the way up to No. 6 nationally in the 200-meter dash as he posted a winning time of 21.91 seconds, while Dom Mikula sits in a tie for sixth nationally in the pole vault after his 4.90-meter performance on Saturday.

The second day on the Bomber invitational begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
