ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 19 Ithaca College men's track & field team traveled to Nazareth College on Saturday to compete in the College Challenge Cup inside the Golisano Training Center and finished the meet in fifth place with 59 points. A second day of competition is scheduled for tomorrow with the conclusion of the heptathlon, but IC did not enter anyone in that event.

Geneseo led the way in the team standings with 136 points, while Cortland was second with 121. Rochester followed in third with 96 and Williams rounded out the top four with 86.

The story of the day for IC was Jalen Leonard-Osbourne, who once again broke his own school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.79 seconds. Leonard-Osbourne has bested his own school standard in consecutive weeks, and in the process, set a new meet and facility record and moved up to No. 2 on the Division III list.

IC met eight AARTFC-qualifying standards on Saturday and set another meet record in the weight throw, which belonged to Luke Tobia. In that event, Tobia measured out 17.78 (58' 4") to win by 1.38 meters (4' 6.25") and is now 11th in Division III.

The Bombers return home next weekend to host the Bomber Invitational and Multi inside Glazer Arena on February 5-6.
