ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football team will hit the road for the first time in the 2021 season as the Bombers travel to No. 20 Brockport for a 1 p.m. kickoff tomorrow at Bob Boozer Field. Both teams are 1-0 in the early season.

ALL-TIME SERIES: Ithaca and No. 20 Brockport have played each other 37 times since 1950. On a four-game losing streak against the Golden Eagles, IC still leads the series, 23-12-2. Ithaca last played Brockport on September 8, 2018, falling 13-7, at Butterfield Stadium. The last time Ithaca played at Brockport; the Golden Eagles posted a 31-0 victory in 2017.
Ithaca's largest margin of victory in the rivalry was a 52-0 win in 1991. In 1980, the Bombers posted the most points scored during a 63-14 triumph. Brockport's largest margin of victory was the previously mentioned 31-0 win in 2018. The Golden Eagles posted 42 points in 2016, accounting for their highest offensive output.

LAST TIME OUT:Â The Bombers certainly did not disappoint the home faithful at Butterfield Stadium in a convincing 52-20 victory over Bridgewater State University on September 4. Ithaca racked up 615 yards of offense in the win, which was the first time an IC team has eclipsed 600 yards since 1993 against Mercyhurst (611 yards).

Ithaca produced 348 yards through the air and 267 on the ground. The Bombers also recorded 29 first downs on the day. The 52 points scored are also the most since the Bombers put up 59 in a home season-opener against Mansfield in 1996.

A.J. Wingfield made his first collegiate start at quarterback and finished the afternoon with 348 yards on 22-for-28 passing for three scores.
Michael Anderson hauled in four passes for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns and recorded two punt returns for 27 yards.
Jalen Hines paced the rushing attack with 88 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns. Ithaca recovered one fumble and had two interceptions.Â
Ithaca's 267 yards rushing are the most for the program since IC ran for 333 yards against Moravian on September 1, 2012.
BAHA HONORED BY LIBERTY LEAGUE: Nicholas Bahamonde picked up where he left off from his freshman campaign in 2019, as he booted seven extra points, a 26-yard field goal and six touchbacks in the win last Saturday. For his efforts, Bahamonde – the 2019 Liberty League Special Teams Player of the Year – was named LL Special Teams Player of the Week.
NATIONAL RANKING UPDATE: Brockport moved up two spots in this week's D3football.com Top 25 Poll, jumping from 22nd to 20th. The Bombers remain in receiving votes but dropped from 45 points to 28 (tied for second in preseason and now sixth).

SCOUTING BROCKPORT:Â Brockport shutout Framingham State, 31-0, last Saturday in its season opener. The Golden Eagles posted their fourth shut out over the course of the last two seasons, including their second straight shut out of Framingham State.

Jack Cheshire made an impressive collegiate debut as he completed 23-of-37 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns. Jala Coad rushed the ball 12 times for 27 yards and scored twice. Imhotep Cromer caught ten balls for 123 yards and a touchdown.Â

The Golden Eagles defense caused seven turnovers and posted four interceptions. Josh Greenwood made eight tackles, including 2.5 for a loss and one sack. He also forced one fumble.
