ITHACA, N.Y. – On July 8, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Academic All-District recipients for at-large sports, and four Ithaca College student-athletes received recognition.
Liza Caldicott of women's crew,
Courtney Christoforo of gymnastics,
Peyton Greco from golf and
Rachel Rosenberg from women's lacrosse were all voted to the all-district team and will move onto Academic All-America voting, which will be announced on August 4.
At-large sports include the following: women's beach volleyball, women's bowling, women's crew/rowing, men's and women's fencing, field hockey, men's and women's Golf, men's and women's gymnastics, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's rifle, men's and women's Skiing, men's and women's swimming & diving, men's and women's tennis, men's volleyball, men's and women's water polo and wrestling.
Caldicott, a 4.00 graduate student in physical therapy, guided Ithaca's first varsity 8 to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Division III Championships this past spring. Ithaca would finish third in the country after clinching an automatic bid by winning its third straight Liberty League title.

Christoforo, a senior with a 3.91 GPA in biochemistry, did not compete in 2020-21 due to the cancellation of the gymnastics seasons, but was the national champion in the uneven bars in 2018-19 for the Bombers. Christoforo was a three-time WCGA Scholastic All-American during her time on South Hill.

Greco, a graduate student in exercise & sport science with a 3.94 GPA, wrapped up her career as a Bomber with a tremendous final campaign. Greco was named Liberty League Golfer of the Year for the second time and helped Ithaca earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships as IC placed 19th in the country.

Rosenberg, a senior defender and a 3.58 GPA student in television-radio, was named an IWLCA All-American this past spring. Ithaca went 14-2 and reached the Round of 8 at the NCAA Division III Championships. Rosenberg was one of the nation's top defenders as she finished the season with 34 caused turnovers, 38 groundballs and 55 draw controls. She also added five assists.
