INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Ithaca College continued competition on Day 2 of the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Championships on Thursday at the IU Natatorium, highlighted by a Second Team All‑America finish from first year diver Madison Morris in the women's 1‑meter event.

Morris earned All‑America honors by placing 14th overall in the 1‑meter diving competition. After advancing to the championship finals with a score of 414.05 in prelims, Morris posted a final score of 411.30 to secure Second Team recognition in her first appearance on the national stage. Her performance marked Ithaca's first All‑America honor of the meet and continued the program's strong tradition in diving.

On the swimming side, junior Kathleen Papiernik represented the Bombers in the women's 100‑yard butterfly, finishing 17th in the preliminaries with a time of 55.54, narrowly missing a spot in the evening finals.

On the men's side, Ithaca was represented by graduate student Matthew Mitros in the 100‑yard butterfly. Mitros touched in 49.76 during Thursday morning prelims, placing 39th overall in a deep national field.

Ithaca remains in competition through Saturday as the championships continue with additional swimming and diving events. The Bombers will look to build on Thursday's results as the meet moves into its final two days.
