ITHACA, N.Y. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches of America (CSCAA) has selected its NCAA Division III, NAIA and NJCAA All-America teams for the 2020-21 season. Due to the cancellation of their respective national championships, selection procedures were adjusted for the season. Swimming selections were made on the basis of verified performances in bona fide competition submitted by their respective coaches. Division III diving selections were conducted via a video evaluation of performances from the 2020-21 academic year.
Many of these student-athletes will be pursuing the Olympic dream by attending the US Olympic Team Trials -Swimming in Omaha, Neb. They will also be eligible for the CSCAA Scholar All-America team, with applications due on June 18th.
For Ithaca College, eight student-athletes were selected for a total of 12 All-America awards.
On the men's side,
Ethan Godfrey and
Justin Moczynski were honored as first team recipients in the one-meter and second team in the three-meter.
For the women,
Rachel Lange,
Ava Lowell,
Abby Marraccino,
Jocelyn Pawcio,
Karalyn Pawcio,
Eliana Wallock were named All-Americans. Lowell was first team for both dives, while Lange was first team at three-meters and second team at one-meter. Marraccino and K. Pawcio were first-teamers at three-meters and J. Pawcio and Wallock were second-teamers at one-meter.
