CANTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's tennis team earned a hard-fought, 5-4, Liberty League match at St. Lawrence University on Saturday afternoon. IC and St. Lawrence played to four different tiebreaks and two flights in singles competition went all three sets. IC is now 2-1 on the season and 1-1 in the Liberty League.

In doubles play, the Bombers won at first and third. Minos Stavrakas and Deon Kraft prevailed at first doubles by an 8-3 outcome, while George Lomas and Nicolas Luis pushed IC's lead to 2-0 with an 8-4 win.

Eric Dubilirer and Anthony Villella dropped a tough match at second doubles with an 8-7 setback and 7-3 in the tiebreak.

During singles action, two of IC wins went three sets. Stavrakas won at first singles, 6-7 (1-7), 7-6 (7-3), 6-1. Artem Khaybullin dispatched his opponent in the fourth flight, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, while Dubilirer earned IC's clinching point at fifth singles, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).

Ithaca returns to action on Wednesday, April 14 for a 3 p.m. match at Rochester.
