Rochester, N.Y. - The 11th-ranked Ithaca College Women's Lacrosse team started Liberty League play with a strong showing against RIT, posting a 19-8 victory. The win came in Ithaca's first Liberty League contest since the 2019 season.
How it Happened: Ithaca scored the first eight goals of the game en route to a 12-5 halftime lead. Seniors

Megan Motkowski each recorded a hat trick in the first fifteen minutes of action on the RIT Turf Field.Â
The Bombers opened the second half on a 6-0 scoring run to take an 18-5 lead. Senior Alexa Ritchie joined the hat trick party, notching her third goal in the second half. Sophomore goalkeeper Kayla Howley saw her first action of the season, recording three saves in the second half.

Alex Rabb found the back of the net twice and first-year

Senior Molly Nodiff led the Bombers defense with three ground balls and three caused turnovers. Senior goalkeeper Mackenzie Schade stopped four shots in one half of action.
