Connor Tierney earned Rookie of the Week after scoring a wondergoal for the Bombers.
Claire Reader recorded another shutout to earn Defensive Performer of the Week for women's soccer and on the men's swimming & diving team,
Jack Wadsworth broke a program record to earn Swimmer of the Week while
Ethan Godfrey won both of his events garnering Diver of the Week. Four other Bombers were honor roll recipients.
Men's Soccer Defensive Performer of the Week- Alex Leahy
Anchored the Bombers defense that recorded a pair of Liberty League shutouts in the final week of the Regular season playing to a 0-0 double overtime tie at RIT before helping IC secure the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Liberty League men's soccer championship with a 1-0 win at Vassar College. Transitioned to a defensive back during his senior season,
Alex Leahy has been a steady presence along the backline for the Bombers all year helping the squad to a Liberty League best eight shutouts this season.
Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week- Connor Tierney
Scored the lone goal of the week for the Bombers and it turned out to be the game-winner against Vassar College to earn his second Rookie of the Week honors. Tierney's scoring effort was arguably the goal of the season for the team as the first year took a pass from just outside the 18-yard box and with his left foot he curled the shot into the upper left corner of the net.
Women's Soccer Defensive Performer of the Week- Claire Reader
Reader was tested this past week and had to be on her game as she helped the Bombers secure the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Liberty League tournament after wins against RIT and Vassar College. She tallied six saves against the Tigers and faced 13 shots against Vassar, while also making six saves and preserved her seventh shutout of the season.
Men's Swimming & Diving: Swimmer of the Week- Jack Wadsworth
Not only did
Jack Wadsworth set a pool record, but in the 100-meter backstroke the sophomore won the event breaking a program record that had stood since the 1996 season. The Windsor, Vt. native eclipsed the former record with a blistering 50.29 recorded time within the event. Wadsworth continued his dominance in the 200-yard backstroke winning that event over an opponent from RPI posting a time of 1:57.70. The sophomore also won the 200-yard IM with a finals time of 1:59.06.
Men's Swimming & Diving: Diver of the Week- Ethan Godfrey
Ethan Godfrey earned podium honors on the three-meter board besting all competition with a score of 290.62. He also won the one-meter event in impressive fashion with a score of 247.50.

Honor Roll
Kelsey Espenhorst tallied goals in three-straight games going into the Vassar College game on Saturday. Espenhorst netted the game-winner on Tuesday against RIT as she nodded a header past the opposing goalkeeper for her fifth overall goal of the season in the 3-2 victory.
Helped the men's program to a narrow 152-142 dual victory over conference rival Rensselaer. One of the first highlights within the meet was
Matthew Stevens besting all of the competition in the 1000-meter freestyle. He touched the final wall with a time of 10:15.14. He also picked up a third-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:59.60.
In the women's 200-yard freestyleÂ
Morgan Hoffman-Smith earned her team points finishing the event second (2:01.90), Hoffman-Smith tasted victory in the 500-yard freestyle as she bested a first-year from RPI when she touched the final wall at 5:23.71.
Jamie Koopman had a pair of outstanding performances in both victories for the Bombers. The sophomore swung for a proficient rate in the narrow 3-2 defeat to Cortland totaling a season-high 22 kills (.455), while also notching seven blocks at the net. In another five-set match that IC won against SUNY Brockport, she had a team-best 12 kills along with four blocks.
