ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College Department of Athletics is excited to announce the launch of the brand-new Bomber Refueling Station: Powered by Wegmans, a dedicated space designed to support the health, performance, and recovery of Bomber student-athletes. The new space reflects Ithaca College's ongoing commitment to student-athlete development and competitive excellence.

"The Bomber Refueling Station reflects our commitment to supporting the complete student-athlete experience. Access to quality nutrition and recovery resources is essential to success in the classroom and in competition. We are grateful to Wegmans for their partnership and investment in the health and wellbeing of our student-athletes," said Aaron Bouyea, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics & Campus Recreation at Ithaca College.

Located on the ground floor of Glazer Arena, the Bomber Refueling Station provides nearly 800 Ithaca College student-athletes with convenient access to nutritious, grab-and-go snacks and recovery options before and after training, practices, and competition free of charge. The station will be open five days a week from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. to help support the rigorous academic and athletic demands of Bomber student-athletes.

The Bomber Refueling Station officially opened on Tuesday, January 20.

"Having the opportunity to provide nutritional resources that will directly benefit our student-athletes' performance and recovery around their busy schedules is just another way we can enhance the student-athlete experience at IC. The Bomber Refueling Station was brought to life through a new partnership between Ithaca College Athletics and Wegmans, highlighting a shared focus on fueling student-athletes, fostering community engagement, and supporting success both on and off the field. In addition to the refueling station, Wegmans will collaborate with the IC Athletics Nutrition Staff to support student-athlete wellness initiatives such as healthier team meals, nutrition education workshops, and shopping demonstrations.
