ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's basketball team notched its 20
th win of the season on Saturday afternoon with a 90-45 rout of Bard College. The win capped off the regular-season for IC and pushed the Bombers to a 20-5 overall record with a 16-2 mark in Liberty League play.

Four players reached double-figures for Ithaca, led by seniors
Cassidy O'Malley and
KellyAnne O'Reilly. O'Malley finished the day with 23 points and 11 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season. O'Reilly netted 13 points and dished out eight assists.

First-year
Natalie Smith chipped in 12 points on the day while first-year
Emily Dorn added a career-high 11 points and nine rebounds.

Ithaca controlled the game from the tip, never trailing the Raptors. The Bombers started the game on a 6-0 run in the first two minutes before Bard put a pair of free throws from Christina Kiser on the board.

Ithaca held Bard to just two points until there was 3:43 remaining in the quarter. IC went on a 13-0 stretch to go up 20-2 with just over four minutes on the clock.

O'Reilly drilled a shot from distance followed by a Fastbreak layup from O'Malley. Junior
Megan Yawman then hit a 3-pointer followed by a jumper and a 3-pointer from sophomore
Melissa Buxton. A free throw from sophomore
Lindsey Albertelli capped off the run with the front end of a pair of free throws.

A 3-pointer from
Alex Heuwetter in the final 30 seconds gave the Bombers a 23-point, 27-4 edge at the end of the first quarter.

Ithaca continued its dominance, building up a 31-point lead in the second quarter. The Bombers went on a 9-0 run, starting with a free throw from O'Malley at 3:26. First-year
Camryn Coffey bookended the run with a pair of free throws with just 2:21 on the clock.

O'Reilly opened up the third quarter with a 3-pointer to continue her successful senior day. Ithaca then went on to score seven-straight points, starting with another shot from distance from O'Reilly at 8:43. A jumper from
Abbi Field with 6:40 on the clock bumped Ithaca's edge up to 52-15.

The Bombers built up its largest lead of the game at that point – 43 points – on a layup from
Emily Dorn at 1:21, which carried into the fourth quarter.

The fourth quarter gave the Bombers' reserves more of a chance to showcase their skills.

Smith opened the quarter with a Fastbreak layup and Coffey drilled a 3-pointer at 8:55 to extend IC's lead to 72-26.

The Bombers took their biggest lead of the game, 51, for the first time with an Albertelli layup at the 6:41 mark.

Smith concluded the game for Ithaca with five straight points, en route to the eventual 90-45 win.

Ithaca shot 35-for-79 (44 percent) from the field, including nearly 62 percent in the third quarter and 50 percent in the fourth quarter. The Bombers forced 19 Bard turnovers and had a season-low five turnovers. IC also had the edge on the boards, outrebounding Bard 55-29.

The Bombers are back in action next weekend as they host the Liberty League Tournament for the second year in a row. Ithaca will play the winner of the WIlliam Smith/RPI on Saturday afternoon, with the final taking place on Sunday.
