The Ithaca College softball team swept its doubleheader against Division I Cornell University, winning the first game 6-0 and the second game 10-3.

In the bottom of the third inning, junior Marie Kelly hit an RBI single to put the Bombers up 1-0. Junior Tracy Welliver got a bases-loaded walk and sophomore Amy McMordie scored on a throwing error to take a 3-0 lead.
Ithaca scored three more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, which was highlighted by senior Jennifer Blum's two-run single.
Kelly, McMordie and Welliver each recorded an RBI in the contest and Blum went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Junior Nicki Swan pitched a two-hitter and struck out seven batters in the first game.
Game 2 | Ithaca 10, Cornell 3
The Bombers scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning, which was highlighted by freshman Sharon Orchard's two-run single. Cornell cut the lead to 4-2 in the top of the fourth inning, but the Bombers added four more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. The Big Red scored one final run in the top of the sixth as Ithaca scored two runs of its own in the bottom of the sixth inning.
McMordie went 1-for-3 with two RBI and Orchard finished the second game going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run scored.
Swan only allowed three hits and had three strikeouts. She is now 15-6 on the season.
