The Golden Flyers scored the eventual game-winner in the 55th minute of play, as Ashley Plane netted a pass from Danielle Christ for her second goal of the season.

The Bombers were not without chances against Nazareth, as finished the day with 18 total shots, 10 of which were on goal as well as seven corner kicks compared to the Golden Flyers one.

Ithaca ramped up the offensive pressure in the opening minutes of the first half, registering four shots and testing Nazareth goalkeeper Hannah Miller several times.

Seniors Jordyn Haynes and Gabriella Mihale put shots on frame in the eighth and 10th minutes, which Miller saved. Mihale once again got a shot off in the 16th minute, but Miller made the play once again.

Nazareth finally got off its first shot of the game in the 21st minute, as Plane sent an attempt wide of the goal. The Bombers' defense would go on to limit the Golden Flyers to just three shots in the first half.

Ithaca kept up the offensive pressure, putting two more shots on goal before the break.

Senior Elise Leavitt's shot in the 27th minute was saved by Miller before first-year Delaney Rutan's attempted in the 40th minute was also stopped.

The Golden Flyers came out of the break to immediately put the pressure on Ithaca's defense. Nazareth recorded 12 of its 15 shots in the second half.

Just 2:16, Caleigh Cahoon put a shot on goal before McKayla Hughes sent in a header in the 49th minute, which were both saved by Jakobsze.

In the 55th minute, Nazareth had an offensive push which ultimately led to the goal. Christ and Plane both put shots on goal and both were saved by Jakobsze, but just seconds later, Plane scored the lone goal of the game.

The Golden Flyers continued to push, looking to add another goal to the board.

In the 60th minute, a Christ shot hit the cross bar, followed by a wide shot from Megan McCraith. The Golden Flyers went on to earn a corner kick in the 61st minute and McCraith got off a header seconds later, which was saved by Jakobsze.

Just two minutes later, Jakobsze was tested again, but came up with the play on Hughes' ball.

Ithaca, still looking for the equalizer, put a shot on goal in the 66th minute, but Miller came up with the save on senior Ally Christman's attempt.
