SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The No. 16 Ithaca College men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw with Skidmore on Saturday afternoon in Liberty League action. The Bombers are now 11-2-2 on the year with a 4-1-1 mark in conference play.

In an interesting twist, both Ithaca and Skidmore's goals were scored on penalty kicks.

Just 15:36 in, Skidmore's Ted Roach was issued a yellow card which resulted in the Bombers' taking a penalty kick. It was Turi who got the ball and put it in to give IC a 1-0 edge.

In the 23rd minute, first-year Brendan Lebitsch had a scoring chance for the Bombers, which was saved by Bosch.

Following a foul in the box on the Bombers in the 24th minute, the Thoroughbred's were awarded a penalty kick of their own. Stanley Langyintuo put the penalty kick in to even the score, 1-1.

Skidmore opened up the second half with back-to-back shots, which were both high, from Kyle Barrett and Langyintuo, respectively. The Thoroughbreds then tested Lichtenstein again in the 51st minute, but he stopped Langyintuo's shot.

Sophomore Theo Scott had two shots-on-goal in a row for IC. His shot in the 52nd minute and his header less than a minute later were both stopped by Bosch.

Following a Barrett corner kick, Skidmore's Roach but a header on-frame, which was stopped by Lichtenstein once again.
