Â
McKensie Galusha sent a ball into the box on a corner kick and Bedrosian was there to head the ball into the back of the net, giving the Bombers an early 1-0 lead.
Â
Less than four minutes later, in the sixth minute, Bedrosian took a cross from
Sam Robinson and scored to give Ithaca a 2-0 lead.
Â
Bedrosian struck again in the 19
th minute of play, once again finding the back of the net, this time on a cross from
Ally Christman.
Â
Ithaca's fourth goal of the game was once again off a corner. Galusha sent the ball in where Bedrosian was there to finish, recording her fourth goal of the day.
Â
The Bombers continued their hot streak, adding a fifth goal in the 22
nd minute. First-year
Alex Epifani scored this time on a pass from
Maddie Boerman.
Â
Less than two minutes after Epifani's goal,
Reid Garner netted a goal to put Ithaca up 6-0.
Â
The final goal of the first half was scored by senior
Mackenzie Hinchliffe on a pass from
Maddie Amidon.
Â
In the second half, Amidon scored a goal of her own in the 73
rd minute to put the Bombers up 8-0 which would carry through until the end of the game.
Â
The Bombers' defense was also able to limit Wells' chances, allowing just four shots during the entire game, compared to Ithaca's 33 shots.
Â
Ithaca also earned 12 more corners than the Express, tallying 14 total compared to Wells' two.
Â
The Bombers' starting goalie,
Stacey DiGiorgio as well as Sara Jacobsze who came in for the second half, each made two saves on the day while not allowing any goals.
Â
The Express also used two goalies. Starting goalie Quinn Doubet finished with five saves while allowing four goals while reserve goalie Karlie Maloney made four saves but let in four goals.
