The Bombers got on the board first with a Sarah Pirnie goal in the 13th minute of the opening half on a cross from Sam Robinson. The goal is Pirnie's third of her career.

The Lions tied the game at one less than six minutes later, in the 19th minute, on a header from Jordan Oberlander.

Just about seven minutes into the second half, the Lions put another goal on the board. Jordan Trama got a pass from Olivia Belack and sent it into the upper corner to gain the advantage for Behrend.

In the final 20 minutes of play, the Bombers picked up the pace and had several chances, but could not find the back of the net to score the equalizer.

Mackenzie Hinchliffe and Galusha had the final two shots of the game for Ithaca, but they were saved and went wide, respectively.
