TROY, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's soccer team topped RPI on Saturday, 3-1, on the road.

The Bombers are now 6-8 overall with a 3-4 mark in the Liberty League.
Ithaca scored two of its goals in the first half en route to the win before closing things out with another goal in the second half.

The first goal was in the 19
th minute of play when
Alex Epifani found the back of the net to give the Bombers the lead.

Less than 10 minutes later, in the 27
th minute, junior
Shoshana Bedrosian scored on a pass from
Jordyn Haynes which put the Bombers up 2-0. The 2-0 score would hold through the half.

Just under six minutes into the second half, the Bombers struck once again. It was Bedrosian who found the back of the net for the Bombers again, scoring her team-leading eighth goal of the year, assisted by
Reid Garner and
Sarah Pirnie.

Bedrosian also had a team-hight 18 points for the season.

The lone RPI goal was in the 62
nd minute on a header from Dali Alarian, off a pass from Bethany Hanson. It was Alarian's second goal of the year.

Ithaca registered just one more shot following RPI's goal. Bedrosian sent a header towards goal in the 68
th minute but goalie Joey Lyons was there to make the save.

RPI pushed the issue and looked to score the equalizers, but goalkeeper
Stacey DiGiorgio was there to make three saves to end the game and preserve the win.

DiGiorio made five saves in the net for the Bombers while Lyons recorded two saves for RPI.
Â
The Bombers now have two more regular-season games left to be played, both at home.
Â
On Wednesday, October 25, Ithaca will host RIT at 3 p.m. before facing Vassar on Saturday, October 28
th.

Kendall Cirella and
Caroline Matos.

Liberty League playoffs are slated to begin on Tuesday, October 31.
