REDLANDS, Calif. – The Ithaca College baseball team was on the wrong end of a 17-0 decision at the University of the Redlands on Friday afternoon in Redlands, Calif. to conclude its spring trip to the west coast. Ithaca will return to New York with a 6-6 overall record, while Redlands improves to 14-6 overall.
The Bombers produced just three hits in the game and struck out nine times.

Sophomore
Tyler Hill took the loss in five innings pitched. Hill allowed three runs on six hits with two walks and two strikeouts. Four other Bombers saw action on the hill in the loss – juniors

Ryan Contegni.
 The game remained close through five innings, as Redlands scored three runs over that span. However, in the sixth thru eighth innings, the Bulldogs piled on 14 runs – two in the sixth, five in the seventh and seven in the eight.
Although Ithaca committed three errors defensively, all 17 runs were earned.
The Bombers return back to New York for a single game on March 22 at 3 p.m. against defending Division III champion and nationally ranked No. 1 Cortland. Ithaca's first home game is set for March 29 against Oswego at 4 p.m.
