Last Time Out
Ithaca got off to a dominant start to its dual-meet schedule on Wednesday evening with a 42-3 whitewash of RIT at Ben Light Gymnasium. IC scored victories in nine of the 10 bouts on the night, with seven of those wins scoring bonus points for the Bombers. Ithaca picked up one victory by fall at 165 pounds, while it scored technical falls at 125, 157, and 197 pounds.

Strong Debut for D'Orsaneo
Ithaca had one new entrant to its lineup on Wednesday, as Demitri D'Orsaneo hit the mat for the Bombers at 149 pounds. It was the first action of the season for the talented sophomore; however, he looked to be in midseason form in scoring a 21-9 major decision over RIT's Cole Murphy.

ECWC Weekly Honors
Ithaca has been well represented in the weekly honors selected by the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference. IC has had three wrestlers take home a total of four awards through the first five weeks of competition. Carlos Toribio and Jake Ashcraft have earned ECWC Wrestler of the Week nods, while Sammy Schneider has taken home ECWC Rookie of the Week twice during the early portion of the season.

Recent Matches vs. Oswego State
Ithaca has controlled the recent series against Oswego State, winning at least the last 14 duals between the two programs dating back to the 2003-04 season. The Bombers average margin of victory in those contests has been by 16.93 points.

Looking Ahead
Ithaca will return to action in the New Year when they head to Indianapolis, Ind., for the NWCA National Duals on January 5-6.
