ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's swimming and diving team took pause to honor 10 senior student-athletes that have helped build the Bombers into one of the most successful programs at any level on Saturday before earning a 186-107 win over Union College in the A&E Center Aquatics Pavilion. Prior to the first event, Ithaca celebrated the accomplishments of
Justin Barwick,
James Bowe,
Vincent Dodero,
Keith Dougherty,
Addison Hebert,
Jon Husson,
Jeremy Kingsley,
Christian Rauch,
Blaise Sutton and
Jon Yoskin.Â
The Bombers got off to a strong start after taking the top spot in the 200 medley relay anchored by a pair of seniors when
Bradley Keith,
Aidan Hartswick, Dodero and Kingsley beat out three other entries with a time of 1:39.05 to earn Ithaca 11 points.
From there, Ithaca would sweep the first four spots in the 200 free with
Aaron Levin taking the event after touching the wall in 1:47.61. Hebert finished second overall while
Griffin Deutsch and Dougherty finished third and fourth, respectively.Â
In the 100 back, Keith would race to a first place finish (55.50) while teammate
Gregory Markert finished less than four tenths of a second behind to claim runner-up status.
Ithaca received yet another strong finish from one of its seniors when Rausch beat the field in the 200 butterfly with a winning time of 2:01.68 which was seven seconds faster than the second place finisher.
Levin picked up his second top finish of the meet in the 50 free while Husson, Dodero and Kingsley finished in consecutive order to give Ithaca the top four spots in the event.

Hebert took first overall in the 100 free and the 100 butterfly. Keith continued to earn points for Ithaca after securing a winning time in the 200 back after finishing in 2:04.39.
In the final swimming event of the meet, Ithaca showcased its speed with another win as the quartet of Dodero,
Lucas Radouch, Kingsley and
Kellen Scanlan picked up 11 points after finishing ahead of three other teams with a mark of 3:18.98.
In the deep end,
Scott Hillen took second place overall in both the 3-meter and 1-meter events.Â
The Bombers will take part in one last meet at 1 p.m. on Saturday when they host the Bomber Invitational before hosting 15 other teams in the 2016 UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Championship in the A&E Center Aquatics Pavilion.Â
