Biography
2014-15: Barwick competed in freestyle, butterfly and relay events during his junior season. He placed 12th overall in the 1,650-yard freestyle at the UNYSCSA Championships. He finished second amongst the Bombers with a time of 17:08.57.
2013-14: Barwick competed in freestyle and relay events during his sophomore season. His best individual finish was fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle on Feb. 15, 2014. He helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team take second at the same meet.Â
2012-13: Barwick competed in individual and relay freestyle events. He took first in the 100ÂÂÂÂÂ0-yard freestyle with a time of 10:37.60 in the first dual meet of the season against SUNY Brockport on Oct. 13, 2012.Â
High School: Barwick graduated from Dakota Ridge High School. He earned four varsity letters in swimming for coaches Ryan Babcoch, Ron Johns and Bill Rose. He also earned two letters in tennis for coach Rusty Watson. Barwick earned all-conference honors in the 400-meter freestyle relay and the 500-meter relay. He was named team MVP his senior season.
