Box Score ALFRED, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's soccer team earned the top overall seed  in the upcoming Empire 8 Championship and the right to host the four-team tournament after outplaying Alfred, 1-0, on Saturday in an Empire 8 contest at Yunevich Stadium.

With the win, the Bombers, who earned their first No. 1 seed since the 2008 season, ended the regular season with a conference mark of 6-1-0 and an overall record of 7-7-2.  The Saxons moved to 10-5-2 with the loss and 3-3-1 against Empire 8 competition.
