WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The 21st-ranked Ithaca College women's basketball team (27-2) travels to 19th-ranked Williams (24-5) for an 8 p.m. game Friday in the NCAA Round of 16. The Bombers are making their second trip to the Sweet 16. Ithaca fell to Rochester 57-51 in the 2003 sectional semifinal.

The winner will face the winner of Friday's 6 p.m. contest between Whitman and 15th-ranked Emory.
The Bombers are making their 10th appearance in the NCAA Division III playoffs and ninth in the past 13 seasons – each of the last nine under head coach
Dan Raymond. Ithaca is 8-9 in NCAA Tournament play. The Bombers, who have had a record-setting season, have won 14 consecutive games to tally their fourth straight 20-win campaign. Ithaca defeated Colby-Sawyer, 56-43, in the first round of the tournament before defeating Smith, 73-50, to punch its ticket to the Sweet 16.
Ithaca has never faced Williams, Whitman or Emory in program history.

Kathryn Campbell with a team-best 12.2 points per game, while senior
Devin Shea adds 10.4 and junior
Mary Kate Tierney 9.2. Tierney has a team-high average of 6.9 rebounds per contest and junior
Jenn Escobido 6.2. Escobido has a squad-best 53 steals and Shea a team-high 34 blocks. Tierney has dished out 88 assists and Campbell 81. The Bombers are shooting 40.7 percent from the floor and 67.7 percent from the foul line. Ithaca ranks in the top 15 nationally in three categories. The Bombers sit seventh with a win-loss percentage of 93.1, ninth with a points-against average of 46.3 and 12th with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.06.
