ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's basketball team (15-2, 7-1 Empire 8) dominated visiting Stevens Institute of Technology (8-9, 3-4 Empire 8), 92-55, on Friday evening at Ben Light Gymnasium.
The Bombers posted a 10-point gap at the five-minute mark of the first and owned a 44-27 advantage at the half. Ithaca continued to control action in the latter half, taking a 20-point lead at 17:45. Ithaca ran away with the game taking a 77-47 advantage at 5:59 en route to its highest point total of the season.

Jenn Escobido put up a career- and game-best 23 points, while classmate
Mary Kate Tierney tallied her first career double-double with a 14-point, 10-rebound performance. Sophomore
Ally Mnich scored 11 points and junior
Kathryn Campbell 10. Escobido swiped a career-best five steals and senior
Devin Shea and Tierney each dished out six assists.
Ithaca opened action with a 13-4 streak, but the Ducks battled back within two at 7:17, 21-19. The Bombers answered with back-to-back threes and a jumper to secure a double-digit lead, 29-19. The Bombers held a 44-27 lead at intermission.
Ithaca outscored Stevens, 13-4, over the first five minutes of the second and silenced the Ducks throughout the second for the 37-point victory.
The Bombers outrebounded the Ducks, 48-22.
The Bombers return to action on Saturday at 2 p.m. hosting the Hartwick Hawks.
