Tim Goldman took a free kick from 20 yards out that found its way through the RPI wall and toward the right side of the net, but the Rensselaer goalkeeper tracked the shot and punched the ball out of danger.

Ithaca plays its first home game of the 2012 season Saturday at 1 p.m. when Muhlenberg visits Carp Wood Field.
