ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Ithaca College wrestling team (6-0) is seeded third for this weekend's National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA)/Cliff Keen National Duals, a 16-team tournament at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield, Ill. The 16-team field includes 14 teams ranked in the latest NWCA poll, including the top three; third-ranked Ithaca is one of six top-10 teams competing. The Bombers open action Saturday against Wisconsin-Stevens Point (the 14th-seeded Pointers are ranked 28th) and will face either sixth-seed Elmhurst or 15th-seeded Rhode Island College in the second round. Ithaca placed fourth at last year's National Duals, losing only to the nation's top two teams.
