Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca men's soccer team (1-4-1) dropped a 4-0 non-conference match to top-ranked St. Lawrence (8-0-0) on Sunday afternoon at Carp Wood Field.

The Saints tallied two in each period lifting St. Lawrence to its sixth shutout of the season and fourth consecutive.

St. Lawrence recorded back-to-back goals at 13:33 and 15:37 for an early 2-0 spread. Over 30 scoreless minutes ticked off the clock before the visiting squad added a third just 1:22 into the second frame. The Saints netted their fourth in the 62nd minute to finalize all scoring.

The undefeated Saints narrowly outshot Ithaca, 14-10, and took two corners to the Bombers' zero.

Freshman Jordan Gentile (Manlius-Pebble Hill/Syracuse), who made four stops for the Bombers, suffered the loss in goal.

Ithaca will next travel to Alfred on Saturday, Oct. 1 for a 7 p.m. Empire 8 match.
