Troy, N.Y. – The Ithaca women's swimming & diving team (2-0) won 183-111 at Rensselaer Saturday to remain undefeated in the early season. The Bombers have won 23 consecutive duals.
Sophomore
Kait Sessler (Livonia/Livonia) won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:01.95 and the 100 free in 55.84 seconds. She also anchored Ithaca's winning 200-yard medley relay in 1:54.93.
Sophomore diver
Korie Fackler (Central Dauphin East/Harrisburg, Pa.) won both diving events. She scored 228.75 on the 1-meter board and 247.50 on the 3-meter board.
Freshman
Megan Buisman (Penfield/Rochester) won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.70 and the 500-yard freetyle in 5:30.48.
Other event winners for the Bombers were sophomore
Shelby Pascoe (Palisades Charter/Pacific Palisades, Calif.) in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:08.76; sophomore
Elizabeth Gawrys (Ballston Spa/Ballston Spa) in the 50 free in 25.78 seconds; and senior
Missy Keesler (Union-Endicott/Endicott) in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:11.95.
