Box Score Rochester, N.Y. - The Ithaca men's soccer team (4-7-1, 3-2-0 Empire 8) rallied for a goal in the final 10 minutes of the game but couldn't overcome a two-goal deficit in a 2-1 loss to Nazareth (9-4-0, 4-2-0 Empire 8) in an Empire 8 game Saturday.
Ithaca played the entire second half with just 10 players, after a Bomber was issued a red card in the final minute of the first half. Nazareth was carded four times, all yellow-card infractions.
Freshman
Adam Tamburello (Commack/Commack) scored Ithaca's goal in the 82nd minute. It was unassisted and came on a shot from the right side of the penalty area.

Jordan Gentile (Manlius-Pebble Hill/Syracuse) made nine saves in the game.
Nazareth remains second in the Empire 8 standings, and Ithaca clinched a playoff spot by virtue of St. John Fisher's loss to first-place Stevens. Ithaca travels to Rochester Institute of Technology Wednesday before closing the regular season with an Empire 8 home game Saturday at 3 p.m. versus Elmira.
