Rochester, N.Y. - The Ithaca men's soccer team (0-1-2) conceded the game's only goal early in the second half and fell 1-0 to Brockport (2-0-1) in the third-place game at the Doug May Tournament hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology.
It was Ithaca's first loss of the season in three games, and the first game in which the Bombers failed to score. Senior goalkeeper
Justin Parlapiano (Stafford/Stafford Springs, Conn.) started his third consecutive game and made a season-high 10 saves. He was named to the all-tournament team. Sophomore forward
Colton Wigsten (Spencer-Van Etten/Spencer) led Ithaca with three shots in the game.
The Bombers return to action Saturday at Hamilton at 2:30 p.m. Ithaca's next home game is against Cortland, Sept. 14 at 4 p.m.
