Rochester, N.Y. - The Ithaca men's soccer team (0-0-2) finished its second straight game to start the season in a 1-1 tie, this time against Rochester Institute of Technology (1-0-1) in the semifinals of RIT's Doug May Classic. The host Tigers advanced to Sunday's final in penalty kicks. Ithaca will play either Nazareth or Brockport in the third-place game Sunday at 2 p.m.

For the second time this season, Ithaca fell behind in the first half but came back to equalize in the second half. Sophomore forward Steve Kinslow (West Essex/Fairfield, N.J.) scored the game-tying goal in the 67th minute.

Senior goalkeeper Justin Parlapiano (Stafford Springs/Stafford, Conn.) made six saves over 110 minutes of action for the Bombers.
