West Palm Beach, Fla. -- The women's lacrosse team (0-1) opened its season with a 17-7 loss Tuesday to Brockport (1-1). Sophomore Nicole Borisenok (Watervliet/Albany Academy for Girls) led Ithaca with four goals. The Bombers wrap up their spring trip Thursday with a 1 p.m. game against Mount Holyoke.

Other Ithaca goals were scored by Kylie McClure (Upper Arlington/Columbus, Ohio) and freshmen Michlle Avery (Brien McMahon/Norwalk, Conn.) and freshman Tracy Rivas (East Meadow/East Meadow).

Senior Courtney Dowell (Massapequa/Massapequa) and freshman Jess Worthman (Commack/Hauppauge) each played a half in goal. Dowell made six saves and worthman three.
