Oneonta, N.Y.--The women's basketball (19-4, 14-0 Empire 9) tied the school record with its 14th straight victory, a 73-38 win over Hartwick (6-15, 4-9 Empire 8) Friday evening. The Bombers shot 50 percent from the field in the win, and held the Hawks to just 20 percent shooting. Their 43-point margin of victory was the largest since they beat Hartwick by 62 in 2007.

Ithaca never trailed in the game, and had a 10 point lead after the first 10 minutes of play. The Bombers outscored the Hawks 41-16 in the first half. Junior Jordan Confessore (South Brunswick/Kendall Park, N.J.) led all players with nine points and five rebounds in the first half.
