Cortland, N.Y. -- The women's basketball team (2-3) lost 67-55 at Cortland (4-0) Tuesday. Freshman guard Jennifer Escobido (Norwich Free Academy/Lisbon, Coon.) led Ithaca with a season-high 13 points.

The Bombers held the undefeated Red Dragons without a basket over the game's final seven minutes, pulling to within 10 points. Sophomore center Devin Shea (St. Basil Academy/Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) recorded her second double-double of the season, scoring 11 points and pulling down a game-high 10 rebounds. Juynior guard Jessica Farley (Pine Valley Central/South Dayton) collected five of Ithaca's 21 steals.

The Bombers' next action will be Friday at St. Lawrence.
