Geneva, N.Y. -- The men's soccer team (3-6-3) scored in the 13th minute and held off the #28 Hobart Statesmen (6-5-2) Wednesday.

Ithaca's goal was scored by senior Jeff Geyer (Rham/Hebron, Conn.) and was unassisted. The goal was scored from close range, approximately five yards out and was slotted inside the left post.

Senior goalkeeper Justin Parlapiano (Stafford/Stafford Springs, Conn.) earned the shutout with four saves.

Both teams had 12 shots in the game, and Geyer led Ithaca with eight shots.

The Bombers play at Utica Saturday.
