Wooster, Ohio - The Ithaca field hockey team (2-4) lost 4-1 at Wooster (8-0) Sunday afternoon in a non-league game. It was Ithaca's fifth consecutive road game. The Bombers will play three of their next four games at home at Yavits Field, beginning with Saturday's Empire 8 opener against Hartwick.

Ithaca scored in the first half as sophomore midfielder Jessica Dillon (Mahopac/Mahopac) scored on an assist from junior forward Katherine Brown (Akron/Akron). It was Dillon's team-leading fourth goal of the season.

Senior goalkeeper Courtney Dowell (Massapequa/Massapequa) played the first half and made six saves. Senior Chelsea Welsh (Scotia-Glenville/Scotia) played the second half and made eight saves.
