Bloomsburg, Pa. – Division II Bloomsburg won the last relay of the meet and went on to a 140.5-121.5 win over the Ithaca women's swimming & diving team (4-1) Saturday afternoon. Junior Sheila Rhoades (Dryden/Dryden) won three individual events for the Bombers in the dual meet.

Rhoades won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.69 seconds, the 100 free in 53.27 seconds and the 200 free in 1:56.86 to earn valuable team points for the Bombers. Junior Becca Blazak (Quaker Valley/Sewickley, Pa.) was a double-winner in breaststroke events. She won the 100 breast in 1:06.91 and the 200 breast in 2:28.44. Sophomore Cali DeSanto (Mexico/Mexico) won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:18.91.

The Bloomsburg 400 freestyle relay won the meet's final race by three-tenths of a second to clinch the victory. There were no diving events in the meet. Ithaca swims in a quad meet Saturday hosted by Hamilton with Hartwick and Geneseo. The meet begins at 1 p.m.
