ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca men's soccer team (4-5-3) lost 3-0 to #17 Hobart (10-1-2) Wednesday afternoon at Carp Wood Field. Ithaca was 5-0-1 in its last six games against the Statesmen entering Wednesday's game.

Ithaca sophomore goalkeeper Evan Kirshner (Haverford/Haverford, Pa.) made his first career start and finished the game with a career-high eight saves. The Bombers held an 8-7 advantage in shots in the first half.

The Bombers return to Empire 8 play Saturday when they host Utica at 2:45 p.m.
