Utica, N.Y. - The men's tennis team (11-7, 7-1 Empire 8) closed out the regular season with a 9-0 win over Utica Saturday.

The Bombers did not drop a set in singles play and lost only seven games in doubles action. Sophomore Danny Wolk (The Field House/Potomac, Md.) won his eighth straight singles match with a straight-set win at third singles. He also teamed with classmate Taylor Borda (West Morris-Mendham/Chester, N.J.) to win at first doubles. Wolk improved to 32-12 on the season.

Freshman Daniel Adelman (Pomfret School/Hampton, Conn.) won his second singles match of the season with a 6-0, 6-0 win at sixth singles. Junior Andrew Dunnick (Ithaca/Ithaca) won his second match of the spring as well, teaming with Liam Berkowitz (Pleasantville/Pleasantville) to win at second doubles.

The Bombers will compete at the Empire 8 Conference Tournament this weekend. Ithaca has won four of the past five Empire 8 titles.
