Men's Soccer Falls to Brockport

Brockport, N.Y. – The No. 20 Ithaca men's soccer team (9-3-3) lost 2-0 against Brockport (10-5-0) Tuesday evening. The loss snaps a four-game unbeaten streak.

Brockport led 1-0 at halftime after scoring a goal in the 16th minute. The second goal was scored in the 70th minute.

Brockport took 13 shots compared to 11 by the Bombers. Junior back Max Petraglia (Bethlehem Central/Delmar) led the Bombers with three shots on goal. Each team took five corner kicks.

Senior goalkeeper Andy Wilhelm (Centennial/Ellicott City, Md.) made five saves in the loss.

The Bombers close out the regular season at Elmira Saturday. The Bombers can clinch the Empire 8 with a win or tie.
