Rochester, N.Y. -- The volleyball team opened the RIT Invitational with a 3-1 (28-30, 30-23, 30-19, 30-22) victory over Rochester to improve to 9-1 on the season. The Bombers will close out pool play Friday against Brockport at 8 p.m.

Senior Amanda Hubbard (Horseheads/Horseheads) registered a double-double with 15 kills and 13 digs, while classmate Andria Mynders (Minisink Valley/Greenville) posted a team-best 17 kills. Sophomore Rachel Busch (Hoover/North Canton, Ohio) had a season-high 13 kills and classmate Corinna Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) set a season-best 57 assists.
