Rochester, N.Y. -- The volleyball team fell to Brockport 3-1 (20-30, 20-30, 30-18, 23-30) at the RIT Invitational to fall to 9-2 on the season. The Bombers finished pool play with a 1-1 record and will play for fifth-place. Ithaca will next face Fredonia at 10 a.m. Saturday and will face either Cortland or NYU in its final match of the tournament.

Senior Andria Mynders (Minisink Valley/Greenville) led the Bombers with 16 kills and five digs, while classmate Amanda Hubbard (Horseheads/Horseheads) recorded 14 kills, six digs and six blocks. Sophomores Rachel Busch (Hoover/North Canton, Ohio) and Jen Heberton (Darien/Darien, Conn.) put down six kills each. Heberton also had five blocks (two solo, three assisted).
