Williamsport, Pa. -- The 11th-ranked men's lacrosse team opened the 2007 campaign with a 21-12 victory at Lycoming (0-1). Sophomore attack Mike Cintineo (Honeoye Falls-Lime/Honeoye Falls) scored four goals and dished out a career-high three assists to lead the Bombers past the Warriors. His seven points were also a career-high.
Junior attack Logan Bobzien (Arapahoe/Centennial, Colo.) also notched four goals and three assists in the win. Each were career highs. Junior midfielder Craig Lepiane (West Irondequoit/Monroe) netted four goals with two assists in his Ithaca debut.
Junior attack Matt Nelligan (Pingree School/Rowley, Mass.) netted three goals and junior midfielder Kevin Bush (Arapahoe [Colo.]/East Point, Fla.) added two goals and one assist for three points. Sophomore attack Tim Pfeffer (Penfield/Penfield) tallied three assists in his first game at Ithaca.
