Auburn, N.Y. -- The Bombers lost 13-11 in a non-league game to RIT played at Auburn’s Falcon Park. Ithaca held leads of 5-1 in the eighth and 11-7 in the ninth before the visiting Tigers rallied twice for the win.

Freshman third baseman Josh Smith (Pulaski/Pulaski) collected a career-best five hits, including a triple and a pair of doubles, and scored three runs. Senior second baseman Marty O’Boyle (Verona/Verona,  N.J.) and freshman catcher Rob Raux (Frankfort/Ilion) each drove in three runs. O’Boyle recorded three hits. Six Bomber pitchers limited the Tigers to seven hits, but walked 12; six Ithaca errors led to 10 unearned runs.
