Bombers Defeat Hamilton, Fall to Geneseo, Hartwick

CLINTON, N.Y. - The men’s swimming and diving team traveled to Clinton, N.Y. today for meets against Hamilton, Hartwick and Geneseo. The Bombers (1-5) defeated Hamilton 139-101 and fell to Hartwick (117-114) and Geneseo (167-70).
 
The Bombers were led by freshman Mike Ariel (Xavarian Brothers/Norwood, Mass.), who posted a victory in the 500-yard freestyle (4:58.74). Ariel also placed second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.76) and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle (50.37). Junior Mark Tedeschi (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:16.50), while classmate Charles Suozzi (Guilford/Guilford, Conn.) was third in the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.84). Sophomore Matt Olko (Rye/Harrison) placed third in the 50-yard freestyle (22.63).
 
The Bombers are off until the Franklin and Marshall Invitational in Lancaster, Pa. on Dec. 3-4.
